Elsa also has a long history in the optical industry of over 22 years.  She came on board in November 2009 and currently works as an Office Lead and Ophthalmic Assistant for Douglas Family Eyecare. Elsa is a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) and also carries a Doctor of Optometry degree from overseas. She is a graduate from Mindanao Medical, which is located in the Philippines, and also is a graduate of American Intercontinental University. She carries an Associate Degree in Business in Medical Billing and Coding. Elsa also works part-time as an LPN and received her degree from Trumbull Career Technical Center (TCTC).

Elsa worked in Kuwait for 10 years in an optometry practice and moved to Ohio in February 2001. She has resided in Trumbull County since then. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, listening to music, and reading.
